After years of hard work and perseverance, FV Foods and Mel’s went beyond their imagination. From making bread and delicacies, to cakes and pastries, from a small store to a bakeshop, to a grocery and to a restaurant, we truly come a long way. We are happy that we are achieving the objectives of our business.
We got the opportunity to laugh when the community laughed, cry when the community cried, and rejoice when the community rejoiced. We lent a hand to put the pieces back together when things changed or began to fall apart. We cared about the things that have significance in the lives of our customers.
September 23, 2011 was the day when FV Foods and Mel’s opened its fifth branch. It was the day that we are hoping to do better. It was the day that changed and challenged our capacities of doing right business in the food industry. The opening was simple but unforgettable, we organized a simple program. It started with a blessing by Rev. Fr. Albert Macalipay. There were numerous guests who attended and celebrated with us. Among them were: the Beloso Family, director and members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce headed by the PCCT President Oswald and Isa Tugadi, Allan & Ellen Yao of Almanic, Canada, our friends from the press, Warren D Oust of Pinoy World TV, Joy Sarmiento of Pinoy News and Eddie Lee of Atin Ito, FV Foods managers and supervisors from different branches, loyal customers, and many more.
